Target2Sell does not use any sensitive data as defined by the CNIL (race, ethnicity, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health-related data, data concerning a person’s sex life or sexual orientation).
Moreover, Target2Sell does not have the possibility to directly identify your users, we only receive their encrypted ID (the data is pseudonymized).
The gathered data consists of a customer’s purchasing behaviour, such as their purchasing history and browsing on the website (products seen and added to cart, cart value, filled in words in the search bar, etc.). Moreover, some of our algorithms base their decisions on elements unrelated to the customer’s behaviour (visual similarity, semantic analysis).
Because of the nature of our services, Target2Sell has, since its founding, taken a responsible approach when it comes to the treatment of Personal Data and has made sure to always comply with the directives of the CNIL (French National Commission on Informatics and Liberty) and the European Union. Our services are thus in compliance with the GDPR since 25th May 2018 and with the latest CNIL directive on trackers, dated 17th September 2020.

Target2Sell assigns an identifier to each user and each customer. All data is stored and siloed in such a way that it is impossible to identify the same user among all the users of our different customers.
We propose different implementation methods. It is possible to integrate the solution using cookies, but a cookieless integration is also possible (tracking will be done server-side). We provide our customers with full technical documentation that describes all methods in detail.
